Following are the notes. I cut out everything except for the effect chains. Please check to make sure that your notes are correct. After the final edits, Robertpaulson will be formatting them. Once that is completed, I will send the album and graphics to NAD as a zip file to be hosted on his server. I think Nad will host the wav files as well if anyone is interested in hearing the tracks in a higher resolution.

It will look and work something like this ;) (hopefully):
Link Removed

Sorry for the shameless, yet subtle, plug for my last solo effort:D

Termination Dust – Passinwind
Passinwind 4B preamp > Boss GX-700 modeler (Soldano amp model) w/Hafler T-2 tube distortion in GX-700 EFX loop. Delay, verb, additional EQ done in GX-700. Post-processing: T-Sledge multiband comp, George Yohng's W1 Limiter. Loop was done in montage function of Wavelab.

EHX Enigma > Boss ODB-3 > Boss DD-3.

Five Tentacular Squirrels in the Tomato Patch - jrmy
Two tracks of Garageband percussion, seven drone tracks of my Jazz bass being vibrated by an electric toothbrush, one track of my Bronco piccolo bass through a circuit-bent Boss BF-2, and one track of the Bronco piccolo (Bronccolo?) through both the BF-2 and a Red Panda Labs Bitcrusher.

The seven drone tracks are:
1) clean
2) Mellowtone Wolf Computer + Devi Ever Cherry Pop
3) WC + CP + EH Flanger Hoax
4) Malekko B:assmaster
5) Devi Ever US, Cherry Pop, EH Bass Synthesizer
6) EH POG + EH Holy Stain
7) EH POG + Bass Synth + Holy Stain

All basses were recorded through my Bass Pod on a relatively neutral setting, but the drones were given additional echo & reverb in Garageband. The percussion tracks were treated with distortion & two different reverbs in Garageband as well.

The Intumescence- BigchiefBC

thank you Mr Pickles, you are a gentleman and a scholar :D

EDIT - don't worry.

listening back to my own bounce down mp3, it sounds like bush league stuff, and not a great mix... but i'm very glad to be on board. cannot wait to hear the whole album :)

Life in a bent mind (excerpt 2.1) - Mudfuzz
Last Gasp labs Oscillo Fuzz 88 > Katana Sound Thunder Cloud > Roland Space Echo RE 201.

Thanks.

I'm really looking forward to hearing everyone else's stuff:hyper:

its nice to know that some chains are just crazzzzzyyyyyy :D

I have been trying to emulate that recording again however I think its a once off to get that exact tone,... my bass was left out of tune deliberately to get the distorted waves happening but I have no idea how out of whack everything was,... doing it all now set in tune I've lost the mojo! oh noes! looks like ill have to keep this as a 'once in a lifetime' never to get that exact tone again sort of thing!

The track order works very well, IMHO. I hope everyone enjoys the compilation. The files are off to Nad for hosting. Once he gets them set up, I'll post the link for download here then open a new thread to announce its completion.

Stay tuned for a new thread for Version 2 as well.

Before I sign off, let me take a moment to thank RobertPaulson, Nad, and everyone who contributed to Sine Nomine. It's been a pleasure to finally be able to give back a little something to the TalkBass community.
