I've mentioned that before. After all, I've been a year and a half and have been pretty active and I never knew of/checked out the Wiki until fairly recently.

I think rather than stickying this thread, a new one should be started explaining the effects clip database and providing a direct link to that part of the TB Wiki. Then, just as in this thread, posts can be made when clips are added or non-working ones are pruned.

Seems like a good idea to me. Mods?

I believe I put a link to the wiki in the first post. Which is pretty much the same thing but I suppose a specific thread about the wiki could be helpful for people searching.

EDIT: There's also a link in the rules and FAQ sticky.

My thought was that perhaps a stickied thread is created with a list of all the effects articles (at present two) in the Wiki with direct links to them. This first post could be edited by the mods if new categories appear.

The subsequent posts in this stickied thread would simply be posts describing any recent updates. Similar to what I've done in this thread and the "Master Fuzz List" thread today, but more centralized and always stuck at the top of the effects forum for new members to easily find.

I completely agree with this. It will encourage more people to look at the Wiki and it will be more convenient to access it.

We really need a stickied thread about the Effects Datatbass in the Wiki.

In any event, I made a clip of the DOD 595 Performer phaser for a potential buyer (he subsequently bought it) but I figured as long as I made a clip I might as well put it in the Wiki.

Honestly, if this was stickied I might have thought of this earlier. It would have been an easy thing to make a clip of all the pedals I was selling before they went out the door.

Anyway, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. Basic noodling. Because I used my Zoom H2 to record, you can hear my girlfriend watching TV in the background. :p The clip has the AF-9 and then the XXLB kicked in at the end.

Let's get more clips in the Wiki.
