They get hugely variable reviews on forums. I have one as a spare: standard P bass copy which I paid $25 for. It's bang on straight, sets up well and actually plays really well (bit slower neck than my Ibanez, but very light action). It has awesome sustain - much better than my other basses.
It's candy apple red with maple neck & fretboard, I think. In fact, I'll take some pics for you...
On the down side, the electronics are a mixed bag. I had to repair the pickups, where the epoxy had failed, and I've never gotten the E string to sound right (too quiet and if I raise it too much is sort of saturates). It hummed a bit, so I lined the cavity / pick guard with foil and twisted the pick up leads. It still hums a bit when in mid volume range, but not too badly.
