TB member that sells strings and things??

I match and beat prices.

If we sent the wrong item we correct it. Please give me your name / email address used on orders privately so I can look into your experience
Ordered legends flats medium scale. Received short scale. Emailed and was told "DR labels them as short scale but they aren't actually short scale."

That was the entirety of the reply
That's absolutely false

I put them on my sons jaguar and ordered the correct set from amazon.

Where's the "DISLIKE" button when I need it? :rollno:

Are you insinuating I'm lying?

I'm glad you posted this publicly... Below is the message I sent you in response to your PM...

Yes. Unfortunately I have been having an on going fight with DR as their "Short Scale" is considered "medium Scale" to everyone else...

I sell them as "Medium Scale" as the 34" winding that they have is considered MEDIUM SCALE to everyone else... Their packaging says "SHORT SCALE" on it even though the winding length is not 32" like every other manufacturers short scale.

We came to a solution for these at the NAMM show. We hope to see the new packaging and new string lengths start to roll out in the next couple of months.

I'm sorry you found this as me being combative... I'm happy to work with you on a solution but this is how it is with this particular string set.

It does not look like you replied to my last message regarding this back in November so I can only assume you resolved it on your own. If it has not been resolved please contact me and I would be happy to work with you on a solution.

This has been a known issue with DR's "SHORT SCALE" strings for a while. There is NO length difference between the SFL-45 that I sell compared to a SFL-45 that someone else sells...

The SFL-45 which DR calls a "SHORT SCALE Hi-Beam Flatwound Legend" set has a 34" winding from Ball to Silk...

The "SHORT SCALE" NEON DR strings that I had made I had made in a true SHORT SCALE with a 32" winding Ball to Taper.

Trying to figure out if my work internet is just awful or if the BSO website is kind under construction, certain menu options bring up no results, then I click on continue shopping and I go back to the homepage.

If you only carried my roundwounds I could stop using other places. :(

Optimas, (uniques, not the golds) I gave them a shot just because they had orange silks and they turned out to be really nice strings. Pretty much been my go to since I have been having issues with EB Cobalts.

Please email me your exact set... I'll make sure it is in my first stocking order with them.

Been setup with them for a while just never pulled the trigger. Made arrangements at this year's NAMM show to blow things up!

so, no matter how snippy you wanna get you're either selling things incorrectly or sent me the wrong item. neither of which you have allowed for in your replies. as said, I have taken care of it, you still wont admit you've done wrong.

ps: no where does the set from amazon that is in fact a 34 scale set say short scale as you claim. you're wrong.
