TB Noise Compilation V.3

Thanks for the interest in looking up my very small YouTube presence. Those videos were my attempt at starting a regular uploading habit of misc bass looping ideas to YouTube. Turns out the habit didn't stick as those were my only uploads. I'll try again this year to be more regular.

About the looper- yes its the DL-4. It WAS awesome. Has since been replaced by the M9.

About my Noise Comp. submission- I didn't use a looper. I had just got my first Mac and was testing out Garage Band. I plugged my board into the mic in jack with a Radio Shack adapter and started a drum track on GB and played along with it for about 5 mins. I went back and changed some of the drums up, and edited it for time. There is only a first-take bass track, and no overdubbing. This was about a month or so before the noise comp was announced, so it sort of just worked out that we voted for improve-only first-take submissions.

Also, Crocs are your friend. Embrace them.

Okay, I'm an idiot. I just noticed I didn't include my own effects chain in the notes I sent to bassk:rollno: I'm batting a thousand these days.

Did you like my filler text? :p I had to do it for someone else, too. If you'd like I could fix it. 5 minute fix, would take longer to export the picture to png 2 times then to change it.

I think the primary reason for that was the way it was released. First it was, then it wasn't, then Pickles released it premaster, then people were waiting for the mastered set, then those that had heard the unmastered set said mastering wasn't necessary, so the set everyone had to begin with was good enough and the buildup to release fizzled.

IMO.

Yeah, probably. I think that happened last time as well, for different reasons perhaps. Either way, sometimes the enthusiasm is mostly in doing the act, not the completion thereof. Which is fine really.

Life gets in the way sometimes. Apologies for killing the buzz:(

Don't sweat it, man. You've done a ton for this thing! Besides, the next one will have a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE marketing campaign. We'll take out spots on VH1 and MTV (and MTV2), and then follow it up with our own reality TV show. Just think of the pitch: "Twelve avant-garde bass players, united by a love of effects, forced to live in a house together until their compilation is completed. Will they rally together for the love of noise, or kill each other in a drunken brawl? Only time will tell!"

Awwww crap man, that's not what I meant. It's nobody's fault it just happened that way. Everyone was trying to do the best they could and that's how it worked out. I still haven't got a chance to listen to it proper because of family and the type of work that I'm doing. That has played a role in my not responding. Thanks for setting it up, it wouldn't even be together if it wasn't for your organization.

A big, serious, sloppy, wet tongued, thank you, Mr.Pickles.:p
