TB pinball enthusiasts?

My prior best was 11mil. And this was with a dodgy plunger and non-scoring Pinbot targets. Woulda been over 30.

It's become a classic in the year since it came out. Designed by the best pinball player ever Keith Elwin. No WONDER the nerds love it!

I have heard about this table, but haven't found one yet. Didn't know it was an Elwin design, either! The master.

Taxi is such a great table, fast and fluid ramp work, and truly hilarious voices. Another one you couldn't make again.
Got to log some games on the new Stranger Things release. Very fun and open game play with very cool animations and features to hit. It's a good one!

Good timing in the thread bump.
I played pinball on Friday for the first time in probably 20 years. Wow, that was fun.
One was Terminator, which was fun having Arnold yelling at me, then the other Arab Knights I think it was

That would be Tales of the Arabian Nights, which is a rather divisive table in pin history. Not sure I've ever seen one in real life, but I have it in my virtual table collection and it's quite interesting.

If you ever pass through Olympia in your travels, stop at Old School Pizzeria. The pizza has gone downhill in recent years, but you can still buy it by the slice, the old school vibe is still strong, and they have those two pinball machines as well as a couple arcade games. I love it in there.

I can imagine why it's divisive. The graphics are suggestive and the guy makes some interesting comments during gameplay. A couple times I was saying to myself... Whoa, what? Did he just say that?

Hah! I'm actually referring to the designer and design of the game. I don't want to derail this thread but if you're curious look up John Papadiuk. He's a very divisive figure in pinball. Something of a scam artist but is associated with some classic tables.

This is indeed a well-timed bump, there is a good chance I will be playing some tables, and a little Robotron 2084, tonight! I run an open jam on a 2-month at a time cycle on the same night they are open, so there are big stretches where I can't go. See my earlier posts for more about Skill Shots Arcade. 20+ tables from all eras, all in great working condition. $15 free play from 5 to 9 Wednesdays, just outside Syracuse, NY.

Robotron 2084? No way. I have spent hundreds of quarters on that game. I love it.
A classic arcade just opened near me, but they don't have a rad deal like that.

Yeah, one of their multi-game units has it. Easily on the shortest short list of the best twitchy games of all time. I hung 1.5 million on it last visit, but played like crap last night. Next time! The highlight was that somebody has re-issued the vintage game All-Star Baseball. The one where one player picks the pitch (change up/fast ball/curve) and the other bats. The "pitch" come out of a little metal flap in the middle, the field is full of hole targets for single/double/outs etc., and 3 ramps that give you a home run. Above the playing board is a little mechanical baseball diamond were the runners pop up and round the bases. Insanely fun, and a total blast from the past. I'll be back for more next week!
