TB, you suck.

I hadn't even heard of fanned fret basses until a few weeks ago. Then, people start posting threads with so many pictures of those beautiful basses that are so far out of my price range, and I want them all now.

Hey! Don't blame US for your bad case of GAS! Nobody told you that you needed to look....

Paraphrasing the Blade movies - "the GAS always wins!"

I believe the vast majority of dingwalls are made in Canada. They did recently begin making some models in China, but the dingwalls that have made the brand what it is are made in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

But when I looked at one, the pickups (Bartolini licensed but made by Ibanez even though they say "Bartolini" on them) were just not up to scratch at all.

Anyone got suggestions for replacements? Everything else about this bass is lovely, apart from the pups.
