Anybody interested in my JT400SS? Didn't even play it more than 10 minutes because a couple deals I'd been waiting on became available. I'll do it for the same $230 shipped Jack was last selling them for and throw in a gig bag. It's a well-padded bag as long as you don't mind one of the zipper pulls half missing (but still usable). If you do, I've got another one that's thinner and fully zippered. ha I've got to go to the UPS place either this weekend or Monday anyway to drop off the wrong bass that was sent to me from another deal. I assume this post is still "legal" since it's in the Classified section still...just wanted to give dibs to the folks who have been gunning for these the longest.

Same story here. I actually ended up selling my 4-string Peavey Cirrus (needed a new amp) and my JT500MM is now my only bass. It is so comfortable to play and after adding the Bass Mods BEQ12 18-volt preamp, the thing just kills. I actually had to dial back the trim pot on the preamp b/c the bass was overdriving my amp with my input stage turned up to like 3, lol.

Along with my JT400-MM (strung BEAD) and my JT400-SS both with Bass Mods preamp; I now have a blank canvas, a bare JT500-JJ body and neck currently looking for pick-ups and preamp and tuners, any suggestions or ideas? I am thinking of Barts for pickups and maybe a John East pre

How about some Nordstrand NJ5S pickups and a Mike Pope Flexcore 2t.2stk pre?
