Just got my invoice, what bad timing. Picked up a line 6 m9 thinking he wouldn't get me the invoice this week -_- Made the funds possible and sent it over. lets hope it isnt a two week ordeal to get it from him!

Mine came in the mail today, and I have to say I am very disappointed. As the others here, there was no communication, it just showed up. That's no big deal, but some of the other issues are.
First thing I noticed was that the control cavity cover on the back was missing. Second, there is fret buzz all the way up and down the E string. Third, there is alot of noise from this bass when it is plugged in. It is a jazz bass and has single coil pickups in it, so I expect some noise, but this is way over the top. It has to be from the preamp. Also, the pickups are extremely tinny.

Got my AP400MM today. I am about to head out for work and don't have time for a really good review. It came packed well. When I pulled it out of the box I noticed some white substance in a couple of places. First glance, I thought it was blemishes. Whatever it was it wiped off easily. The bass wasn't cold, so I tuned it up. There are no buzzes, no sharp frets. The action is fairly low and the intonation was good. The electronics work, but it has a small buzz when you let go of the strings (same as the AP400M I once owned.) The front pickup is screwed down pretty far, the rear could probably be raised a little too. So far-so good.
Hopefully somebody will put some up soon. I promise to do so when I get mine.
Supposedly it was going to ship today but I didn't receive tracking info, though he told me he would send it. Regardless, I should be getting mine soon.
Looks like I might not have to post pics of mine...unless of course he accidentally sends the midnight blue instead like I think he might.

I plan on holding onto mine (if I like it). I turned one of my basses into a synth bass (roland pickup), and sold a cheapy back up. I really only have my Warwick as my main bass. So I am sure I would probably modify the pickups and electronics eventually but just want a nice back-up. I also have the makings for a FrankenFender...
Just got mine, same model as the pics above. Packaged well. Looks all good. Will get to plug it in when I get home in the morning!
I really hope this doesn't turn out to be really anticlimactic. According to the website tracking info, mine is at the UPS hub ten minutes from home but I can't pick up until the scheduled delivery date...Monday end of day. :-(
So I finally got mine. Here are a few photos.
I found the fretwork on mine to be quite good. A little bit of buzz here and there but no big deal really probably just needs to settle in to the weather here in NY or maybe a minor truss rod adjustment.
The sound of the pickups and preamp are quite serviceable. I don't see myself changing them any time soon. The tuners are ok, the (Hipshot A style) bridge looks like it could of used a touch more filing on some edges but again no big deal. The bridge allows string through or from the back o the bridge like the Hipshots...nice touch. On of the string through ferrules wasn't pushed in all the way...easily corrected with a few soft taps from a hammer.
The strings had some sort of black grime on them...left my picking fingers completely black. I'll have to spend some time with some cleaning products next time I play with it.
So, overall impression...positive. I don't think anyone can possibly expect more from a $200 made in USA hand crafted bass. At the original $400 price I think it is a good value...at the $200 sale price it's a steal.
