TC Electronic BG250 208 change head

Hi just wondered if anybody out there has changed the standard BG250 head on the BG250 208 combo and replaced it with the BH800?

As love the tc amp but looking to upgrade the head

I’m actually curious if I can use my BG250 cab with any old head. I haven’t looked to see if the TC head can be removed.

For the OP and late reply, here's a thread detailing what to do if you enjoy getting your head kicked in.

Converting a TC BG250-208 into a modular amp/ cab (pics)

You can use the 2x8 cab with another head, you just need to disconnect the speakon cable from the amp head and the plug the speakon from the outboard amp into the 'extension speaker' plug. DO NOT USE WITH THE ON-BOARD CABLE PLUGGED INTO THE HEAD!
