I'll claim Number 6 if that's still available. I did my part to prop up the economy and spent my stimulus check on a BQ-500 and a pair of BC-208s back when the pandemic started. It works well in the drum-less trio I have with a couple of guitar players. I use just one cab with that head all the time -- no worries. Here's a pic of the admittedly marginal job I did of adding NL4s to the cab -- it made absolutely no sense that the amp only has a Speakon out and the cabs only have quarter-phone inputs. (The NL4s are mounted upside down so there is some extra room to actuate the thumb latches.)

I noticed that in their catalog of cabs that the 2x8" seemed to be the oddball in that regard.

The RH series were manufactured in Japan, weren't they?

Both my RH750 and RH450 heads were “Made in Thailand”. All my RS cabs (three RS112 and two RS210) were made in Malaysia, apparently.
Here’s the RH750 and a couple of the RS112s - it’s just what was sitting around handy for a photo....

Peavey Rudy Sarzo with Glockenklang preamp and coil switching and, what is probably my favourite bass of any that I’ve owned, Peavey Randy Jackson signature, the RJIV (the greyburst one).
Both are outstanding basses and criminally under-rated, especially this side of the Atlantic where the RJIV was never an official import.
Those two, plus the Palaedium and ‘86 DynaBass are pretty much all I play but the the RJIV is the ultimate....

I've a passion for Peavey instruments myself and have played Cirrus basses for many years. I had an amazing Fury bass years ago that was just so much fun to play. Beautiful instruments you have there. I knew the body looked so familiar but the headstocks were throwing me off for some reason. They look like they would be very versatile basses!

I completely forgot to mention the BH800 that I have (but have rarely used) as a ‘reserve’ head and the BG250 115 combo that I have out in Greece, to use when I’m there.
So, that’s RH750 and RH450, BH 800, BG250 + three RS112 cabs and two RS210 cabs, plus Vortex Flanger, Corona Chorus and Spectradrive pedals on my board plus a couple of Unitune tuners......
I suppose that I’m just a brand loyal sort of guy, especially with basses where all but two are Peavey.

I have been gigging this rig hard for the last 5 years and no intensions of stopping, I have to say I have 300 gigs on this head alone and never an issue. It's just an amazing little rig.. Can I get a number? Also have a BQ500 and a spare BH250. Looking for anothe RS210.

OK, officially count me in. #6? Just ordered the BAM200, $109 from Sweetwater! Everyone should go get one at that price!

Question: Guitar Center and AI says that you can load a TonePrint effect in to it. Has anyone done this? I already use a Digitech BP350 for any and all effects I need, but was thinking to dial in the perfect clean tone with a Tone Print.

No toneprint in the BAM.


I did post the deal thread about the BQ500 a few weeks back and got one. It’s great too.

Also a poly tune and a Spark Booster. I think that’s more than any other brand- except our own @ExaltBass - I have several custom, high quality instrument and speaker cables from him.

I have one of other brands for the most part.

Nope, looks like #6 was taken, so maybe #9? Just squeeze into the top 10.

And I saw that @VS already said that one of the differences between the BAM and BH was Toneprint. So - looks like GC needs to correct their site (because I'm sure that's where AI is picking that up! Stupid machine scraper...)

Number nine, indeed! Yes, that must be an error somewhere as the toneprint is not featured in the BAM.

There is apparently a 200 watt AND 300 watt version of this head and like three versions that all look the same. The Gnome, Gnome i Pro and Gnome i Pro V2.

Yeah, I bought a Warwick Pro M In February, so was inclined toward the Gnome, but Sweetwater's price tilted the scale to the BAM
