TL/DR -- there's room enough on the ABS plastic input panel to add a pair of NL4s and still retain the quarter-phones if you want to. To what's in that thread, I'd add: I temporarily removed the quarter-phone connectors and PCB to make it easier to lay out and drill the holes. (IIRC) And I took advantage of the opportunity to remove the TC logo badges while I had the cabs apart. (I think the full-sized badges look a bit visually overwhelming on those small cabs, especially when you have a pair of them, no matter how they're stacked up.)
There wouldn't be any room on the baffle board for any sort of tweeter, IMO.
