Ok, here is what I found. Please accept my apology if I've put this in a wrong place.

BTW, It looks like the post was orginally for the RH750 but then it was erased and replaced by the RH450 description.

I assume that the new RH750 is really coming with more power and the TweeterTone™ feature that the Black Smith comes with?

There was a rumour going round in the UK that a RH750 was on the horizon - but this is the first solid evidence I've seen. I myself am waiting for a Combo750 to be released, as it would be perfect for many of the gigs I do!

yeah, I am particulary interested in the tone tweeter functions as I have been enjoying cranking tweeter control knobs on my cabinets for tone making. The blacksmith has got too much wattage for my needs and it's also too $$$ (for sure it's too big as well)

It's really gotta be my dream rig if the new one comes with the 750w of power with full 2ohm support while the size still stays in the same box of RH450's. Since it's too obvious that the blacksmith is designed not for a mass market, another big brother model of RH450 seems to be just perfect to come as long as it's still light and affordable. I also hope 15" cabinet to come soon!

IMHO, I think it's not just a typo becuase the description of the model is also changed. 800 watt is the PMPO of RH450, so the current desciption of RH450 on that post is still wrong, though neither I am sure what would be the PMPO of 750watt...

I just cropped and little bit enlightned the image of Mark King playing with the unreleased RH750 at London Bass show. By considering the size of RS410, I guess the size of RH750 is to be as same as the size of RH450 is. RS210C is still compatible with the new coming model? hm..

It's quite interesting to see that GC discontinued RH450 on thier inventory list and there's an ebay store that sells RH450 + controller at unbeatable price when you do some counter offerings. Don't buy RH450 at mega stores unless you want to get extra warranties becuase you can get it with really good price on Ebay stores now. It could be possible that RH450 is going to be discontinued for the new RH750 replacement??

That's pretty funny because TC sent out a press release that is to be embargoed till April 5. Then they go and announce it on their own site. Could it be that their PR department isn't coordinated? Well, at least you almost heard it from me first. There's no direct link from the TC Amps area, though, so don't tell anyone!!!

Good question. The RH450 is still on the TC site. I can ask the TC PR folks what's up. I wouldn't count on TC to eliminate the RH450, though. Genz-Benz offers the Shuttle 3.0 and 6.0, which are essentially the same amp except for power, so there's precedent for TC to do the same.

Thanks for your help mccartneyman! I agree, I doubt RH450 is going to be discontinued as well because RH750 seems to be a total brand new addition in a different category (750 watts) to the current RH lineup at TCE.

I really liked the TweeterTone on the BG500 I demoed last year and am glad to see it on the RH750. The onboard compressor does a great job, too. I found the chromatic tuner on the Staccato '51 I demoed to be a bit too sensitive, but not to the point that it was unusable. Nice lookimg amp, great features and enough power for most gigs.

I am so excited for the TweeterTone function. The wight of RH750 is exactly the same as the RH450's. Headphone out is now at the back. It doesn't fully support 2 ohm but 750w is pretty much of actual handling power for 3 RS cabs configuration. The new RH750 will definitly handle most gigs for sure. It's really going to attract bass players.

BTW, i found a typo on the manual. On the page 19, "Heat Protection Mode" section b), I see "RH450" over there. It should be RH750. No doubt TCE just revised from the manual for RH450 haha. TCE should give me a RH750 for my correction
