TC Electronics' Ditto LOOPY Looper

Hey everyone, I recently purchased a TC Ditto Looper and to my dismay the pedal is not keeping time! It's SLOW! I played in sync with different metronomes and a drum machine and it's fine for a couple of bars and then, the inevitable. It'll eventually sync up again for a few bars after five minutes or so, but that's not really what I was looking for in a looper.

The unit has 100 mA all to itself.

Have any of you had the same problem or a variation such us speeding up?

It sounds to me as though you might not be hitting the switch at the right time. If you stop the loop a fraction of a second off you'll end up with an out-of-time loop.

I think it will be nigh on impossible to time the loop good enough with your foot for it to stay in synch for five minutes! Heck, if stayed close that long I'd say that's about as good as you're going to get with the TC.

You want a quantizing looper that you can put the BPMs into if you need to stay in synch with a drum machine. That's how it seems to me.

Your timing has to be perfect for a drum machine.
I used my Ditto live on my last gig, worked great and my drummer kept nice time with it.
Awesome little looper, really helped me expand on my improv skills, learning and coming up with new ideas.
