TC Electronics Rebel RH450 First Impressions

I would not worry about needing to give the rig back because I want to keep mine. Do not alert them! I also contacted them multiple times and I think they may have decided to let us keep them all though I have nothing official saying that. You know that the guy running the program left TC Electronic? So who knows what is up!

Hi TB.

I finally got my hands on a TCE RH450 with the 210 and 212 and remote control locally. Tried it out a couple of times in the store, and now borrowed it to our studio/rehearsal space.

Last night I roughly set it up (EQ, Comp, Tube) for my ESP bass, flatwounds, for pick, and a Stingray, rounds, for fingerthumping, using the memory feature. Clean, strong sound, very well defined. Seems like the sound fills the room better than the 810 I use.

Link Removed has two loud guitars, both playing 2 x 4x12's ... so rehearsal tonight will tell if this is the thing I need.

Oh, BTW, I come from Ampeg SVT-CL, 810 and 410HLF. Great gear and sound, but the way things are evolving right now, I need to be more mobile and flexible.
