Very cool. I'm clueless about recording directly to a PC. That's a nice option with this head!
Here's a picture of the rig. This is a GREAT match-up. The AE410 is a more 'rock voiced' neo 410 (punchy, grindy, growly) and it matches up very well with the RH450. And, the 4ohm impedance and relatively light weight (around 65 pounds) makes this cab a perfect 'single cab' solution for those looking for a relatively aggressive tone with some 'chest thump'. IMO!
I really like the Markbass F1 with this cab also. The RH450 is a bit warmer, smoother and fatter... kind of like an LMII with more low mid thump to my ear. Very nice.

Think I should jump aboard as I'm in for the long term with this amp. Used on maybe 25 gigs so far and I'm still smiling, which is unusual.
This is my main gigging rig with the Tecamp. I use the S212 only for backline and with 9 of us including brass it can get a little loud on some stages. This rig really starts kicking with the master set around 11 o'clock but unfortunately on some smaller stages that can be too loud for other band members. I tend to raise the cab which does lose some low end but I can hear the lows coming back from FOH so not a problem.
I also use a Tech Soundsystems 4x10 when depping which sounds great with the 450. Recently managed to buy a used RS210 so may look out for an RS212 in the future.

Thanks - I'm very tempted by the TC cabs but I am concerned about the durability of the finish so I've stuck with my roadworthy GS112's for now.
The cable is a Fender Gold Bass - very retro but annoying to use as the outer braiding is pretty stiff, which makes it a bit of a trip hazard at times!
I had a WONDERFUL experience with the RH450/Berg AE410/Alleva-Coppolo RA5 this weekend.
It sounded even better than I had hoped. I again still love the 'transparent' clarity and 'clean-ness' of the MB heads and TecAmp heads, but this is surely a wonderful flavor also. It was extremely punchy, warm and growly in the best 'modern meets vintage' way. I never felt that I punched through a mix better, and I could hear the note definition all night, all the way down to the open B string.
VERY nice head, and the loudest, punchiest 450 watts I've ever heard.

Edit: One suggestion.... if you are considering this head with a 'one cab solution', I would highly recommend the foot controller. Due to the metal protective overhang of the case/front panel design (which is a good thing), it is hard to see the tuner and preset buttons when you are standing relatively close to the amp if it is on top of a 410 sized cab. Not a huge deal, but not optimal. I was bending over all night to find the mute and see the tuner. My foot controller arrives next week!

Mine performed like a champ at the Symphony Pops concerts this weekend. (I was on Fender, instead of the section). The foot controller is in fact a great feature, as Ken mentioned. Also, the mute switch is great- you DON'T want to accidentally thunk a note during a quiet passage of 10 bars rest.

+1. I've never been able to hear myself as well as I do with my RH450. There is something about that head that makes your tone so easy to hear...

+1 on the footswitch. Just got mine this past week. It is HEAVY! That's a good thing since it is a footswitch, but it has to be 3-4 pounds all by itself. I'm wondering if the cable it uses is just a standard pin-out MIDI cable. If so, I'm going to buy a shorter one that just lets me sit the switch on the floor in front the cab. That way I can turn around and do all my muting/tuning and not have so much extra cable to deal with. A 6 footer should do it.
I ordered a bag from Donovan so I can carry all this nice and neatly. I'll be putting my Gig Skinz bag up for sale which is a PERFECT fit for the RH450 and cables if you don't have the footswitch.
The footpedal reminds me of the Bang and Olufsen TV remote I had in my hotel room in København this last May. Built to last!

How does the RH450 compare to the MB F1 in respect of "WUMP" and overall "VOLUME" ?
I am really thinking of going for either one of these heads. I also own a Bergantino AE410.
About the same IMO. However, the RH450 has a more lower mid emphasis (which of course, I can come pretty close to with the F500). It's just another flavor of great. It is a bit smoother and fatter sounding than then F1 with the AE410... a little more punch, a little less grind an brightness. IMO! The features, or course, are amazing. GREAT head IMO, especially if you like the 'burp and punch'!
I like it a lot. I haven't really pushed it to the max yet, but it feels like it can really go (similar to the amazing F1... maybe even a touch more).
Just received the pedal controller for the RH450. Man, what a work of art. Bright lights that will be easy to read on stage in direct sunlight that indicate mute and memory setting, wonderful 'soft touch' footswitch buttons that are immediate and silent, and the cool tuner 'window' (I like that it has the extra 'precise tune' indicators that are engaged on the main unit when the mute is applied).
Built like a tank, and it is cool that the RH450 bag has a separate compartment for this unit.

I'm using my RH450 w/RC4 footswitch, an RS210 and my FBass BN5 for a gig I'm playing in Branson this week. Man - this is gotta be the best sounding bass rig in Branson by far! When the sound tech's took the direct out from my head, they all started drooling over the tone! Heck - I might get some new gigs from it!

Same here man. I've done 3 gigs over the last weekend with a professional group providing the PA. They had never heard of a TC bass rig before, but were enamored with it since of course they love all the TC rack gear. All three groups have raved over the DI and the tone it gave in general. I've read here at TB how others have had folks rave over the DI in different heads before, but I can't say that anyone has ever done that to me.
