Teacher in Rochester

I'm going to RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology), and if I can find two other people who would be interested, the school will offer an Applied Music course in electric bass (or upright, possibly), which is basically private instruction. If we get it through, they'll hire an adjunct professor to teach. I'm gonna see if I can get two other interested people, but I figure that I'd see if anybody here would want to fill the adjunct professorship (I can't be sure you'd get it, but I'd drop your name and info when I apply).

If you're a relatively accomplished player/teacher in Rochester, gimme a holler.

Well, aside from you two, I now have five people total interested. If you guys want to sign up, look for Professor Atkins. His office hours are Tues & Thurs, 12:30-2:30, Wed, 10-12. You can also speak with him before World Music Ensemble rehearsal on Thurs, at 5:00 in the Music Room, SAU. His email is [email protected].

I heard that it would likely get up and running in Spring quarter because of all of the logistics of hiring an adjunct, but if more people keep asking about starting it in winter, maybe they'll hurry up and find someone.

(First year, BTW. I'm in NRH, trying to move up to CSH.)
