Teacup Knobs Wont Fit?

you don't mean you took off the pot retaining nut do you? If the pot fell into the body, then that's what you must have done. The teacup knobs don't go all the way down/flush with the "hex" retaining nut. They fit about an 1/8th inch about the nut. Just loosen the knob set screw, and press the knob on as far as it will go without forcing it on; the tighten the set screw.

Sounds like you need the brass ring that slips over the splined shaft on the pot then the knob will fit tight and then you can tighten the set screw.The hole for the Teacup is bigger than the spline on the pot and the brass ing space takes up the space.It is the only thing that will adapt a spline shaft to a un splined knob.This is what I think you need.http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/BSH/Guitar-Bass-Control-Pot-Adapter-Bushings-2.html

Definitely the set screw. Loosen it up but don't lose it.
I got a deal on them a few years ago and put them on my Turser. They look great.

All of my teacup knobs have had very small straight-bladed screws on the side.

You MUST back these out, first, before pushing the teacup knobs onto the pot shafts.

Then, tighten the screws with a very small straight screw driver. If you have a screwdriver used for tightening the tiny screws on eyeglasses, that should work.

I was looking for this. If you have the ALL PARTS version, you want a 1.5 mm Hex Wrench and that'll undo the knob screw.
