Im considering getting one. I have Epifani UL501 and Piccolo right now. Should I keep Epifani or go TecAmp?

TecAmp Puma 900 or Epifani

What don't you like about your Epifani heads that is causing you to consider a change?
Nothing to be honest. But I play in church, and the other bass player uses an Epifani head, so I sorta don't want the same stuff he has. It looks like ima copycat.

Don't switch just in fear of copying. Nothing wrong with that. Epifani is great, I love playing them. I also like TecAmp as well. Is it possible to get rid of the UL501, get a TecAmp and keep the Piccolo as a back-up.
Save your money then. I guarantee that nobody notices the amp you have... except another bassist (sometimes).
I don't know ... if it were me I wouldn't be caught dead with an Epipani. I'm a Puma Man all the way.
I recently picked up an Epifani UL3 310. I planned on pairing it with my puma 600 but when I tried it with the Picollo, it was a better fit. I bought the Picollo and sold the Puma. I play a Fodera and this new rig lets me eq everything flat AND play the bass in passive mode and it sounds better than it ever has!!! My two cents.

I'm sold on the way I sound through my Tecamp Puma 500. My tone is clean and clear. This head works really well with my Brubaker KXB-5 Custom, and Brutes.
Update: I sold all my Epifani gear (gave some away) and purchased all new Tecamp gear. Tecamp is better for me, and my sound. I am very satisfied.
i own both TecAmp and Epifani gear. Both are top notch but I prefer Epifani.
I had both the tec amp puma and the epifani UL501. To be honest, I did not like either of them that much. I preferred the Epifani, but for me, the Mesa M9 is perfect.
