I am gonna buy a Puma 500 but i am doubting about cab. I like a lot S212 but my wife says it`s very big for home, then XS112 is the other possibility

Now the questions about XS112:

1) XS112 is enought for homo lttle gigs?
2) XS112=1/2 S212?
3) XS112 Sound caracter is the same as S212?
4) Updated XS112 recently? Tweeter System?

Thanks for your help

Well, first, if you don't fix your 'homo gigs' typo, the TB crowd will turn this into 100 posts about all sorts of stuff:hiding:

The XS is not 1/2 the s212. It has a less sophisticated crossover, and the very small box results in a much tighter tone, with more upper mid presence. Nice little box for home or rehearsal. The s212 is quite small actually, since the 12's are 'in-line' and very lightweight, and you could cover all but the loudest gigs. The floorspace used by the s212 is not that much more than the xS112. If you have the bread, I'd go with that.

If you search for TBer 'Nostatic', he has lots of posts on these two cabs.

Ken, Thanks for our info and suggestions but i think play bass at home or any place is so funny and nutritive as play in a club . The important is play bass : ))

Note :(My brother has a 4x10 EBS Clasic for load siuations and i can use it in any moment)

Here in Spain, XS is about 650 euro VS 1050 euro S212 and the difference it is an important amount of money.

Thanks any case

in the other main Tec Amp postings....I believe??... KJung and Nostatic really favoured the M212 as compared to the others...but tone is subjective.
I dont think you can really go wrong with either...great gear...you will not be disappointed.
