A choice of SansAmp Character modes:
SansAmp Bass Driver DI for classic bass tube amp tones, or
VT Bass DI with a focus on Ampeg-style tones.”
That makes it for me right there.

Isn’t that what the current character knob does?
I'm waiting for it to hit the market. I'm sure I will get it and compare to the V1 I have. One will stay at the practice space, the other will stay packed in the gig bag.So what will actually change compared to the first version? It will be interesting to see if it is worth buying it ..
It will be very interesting .. we will waitI'm waiting for it to hit the market. I'm sure I will get it and compare to the V1 I have. One will stay at the practice space, the other will stay packed in the gig bag.
Just out!
I hope we will see another demo soon. I'm glad for this but its not like his usual vids.Part of me really wants to pull the trigger on it but I may wait a while. Just not a lot of time to play now but I really dig the character switching and different drive levels. Most of the other features sound similar to the V1 which work for my taste at least. If I had one nitpick, no blend knob.
Even a part of me would like to pull the trigger but first I want to understand if v1 is worth replacing .. I'll wait againPart of me really wants to pull the trigger on it but I may wait a while. So basically differences compared to v1?

I understand the video .. but I also have the v1 and I want to understand if it will be worth buying the v2..and in any case they don't mind having opinions and advice .. it's not a matter of understanding and watching the videosWell then, if you don't understand the video, then I don't think any of us can help you.
ok budI understand the video .. but I also have the v1 and I want to understand if it will be worth buying the v2..and in any case they don't mind having opinions and advice .. it's not a matter of understanding and watching the videos
Sounds to me like it's worth it if you want to add a few pedals between the fly rig and DI or if you want a dual channel sansamp section. It doesn't sound like they did much else to the actual circuits, or at the least if they did they're not shouting about it as much as I'd expect.I understand the video .. but I also have the v1 and I want to understand if it will be worth buying the v2..and in any case they don't mind having opinions and advice .. it's not a matter of understanding and watching the videos
