Tech 21 blend knob question

After reading many reviews here on the programmable BDDI and the VTBDI, the blend knob is always praised on the VTBDI making this the pedal of choice over the BDDI. Since both have a blend knob, what is the difference and why is one blend knob feature better then the other.

I think you've misread something along the way. VT has a dedicated mid knob.

The BDDI has a much more drastic effect on your basstone. The VT may be - apart from the very highs which are tamed a bit - dialled in pretty "neutral".
VT's my thing for sure, even though it died before yesterday's gig. Just didn't do anything anymore... I'll have look deeper into this one.
