Hi,
I've seen your previous posts... Each of the items you are considering has merits, including in the rock/blues/pop contexts. Their merits are very different though.
What I strongly recommend is that you go to a music store and try a few things out. If that is not an option, then I'd do one of two things:
1) Buy the first one of those units that shows up at a good price used. That way you can try it out for as long as you like, and if it doesn't suit you, you can re-sell it without losing much (if any) money.
2) Make a list of the specific bassists whose tone you like. Write down specific songs or albums from each artist. Then come on here and use the search function to see if those bassists, albums, or songs have been discussed here before (you'd be surprised, I bet they have!). If they have not been discussed here before, then make a post asking what effects were used by the bassist on those songs. I can already guarantee that 99% of the time the answer will be "Ampeg SVT", which means for you a Sansamp would make the most sense. But if you are looking for that 1% where a filter or a chorus or an phaser was really a part of the bassist's tone, then you will want the Boss multi or other effects.
