Tech 21 Steve Harris Fly Rig

Yeah, really sounds amazing in those demos.

Great playing too.

I could totally see myself getting one of these sometime in the future.

Agreed all around. This has killed GAS for anything else at this point. I just put four new pedals on my board so I have to cool it for a bit, but this already has a spot reserved for it. When the other two pedals I've been interested in recently BOTH showed up in the classifieds for good prices, I didn't even consider them. That's.....that's not normal.

Tim's soundclips sound incredible! The tones he's getting out of the SH Flyrig are right up my alley. And TWO mid controls.

I'm a newcomer to overdriven bass tone, and running separate Clean and Dirty signals. The GED-2112 is the cornerstone of my amp setup, I absolutely love it. :bassist:

Tech 21: You're killing me!!!

I don't hear much so far that I can't get with the the VTDI and/or YYZ, but I'll probably get one anyway because these Tech21 Sansamps are my favourite pedals!

@Gefilter1001 - do you have the VT, or have had it in the past? It took on a new lease of life for me when I figured out the character control is also a mid control, so I can boost it to 3 o'clock to get the clank I want, then back off the mids to compensate.

This looks very interesting.

Does anyone know if the channel select has a lazy pot like the pbddi or is it a direct switch?

Also, are you stuck with the same settings for both channel 1 and channel 2 with the only adjustable difference being the gain?

Yeah. These seems to be the biggest limitation for me. Needing to use the same EQ for each channel. It’s really only a single channel with two gain/volume settings.
