Ha! The "D" string broke mid demo, so I had to swap position with the "A" in order to finish. Good eye!
all good, you do what you can to make things work!, these demos all sound fantastic! may I ask how you record them?
Sure! I go from the pedal into a Presonus Audiobox USB, directly into my laptop. I record video with a GoPro and drop the live audio on the video in Movie Maker. No vst's no dubs, just pure pedal. If I drop a clam, I start over.
What do you use to capture the audio, tho? Must be a DAW in there somewhere of the backing track + your demo performance?
I've been reading the manual and honestly the only thing that I would like it to be diferent would be to be that the cab sim only affected the xlr out instead of both outputs.
i hadnt noticed that. but yea, i agree. i love that on the dUg. speaker sim on xlr, not on 1/4". i dont get the reasoning to have it any other way.
See, for me i have no need for XLR, but i do want the full effect on the 1/4 out. The choice to have either would of course be preferable.
A huge part of Harry's sound comes from his EV speaker loaded Marshall cab. So, I can certainly see there being a reason for it to affect both the XLR and 1/4" out for this pedal. Now, that isn't to say that it couldn't be selected via dip switches, or something.
even if you were going into your amp you can still take the XLR signal and instead of a 3 pin use a cable with a jack connector and run it into your amp.

I didn't know you meant the DP3X. I assumed you meant the SH1, and totally got what you meant, but I like the simple life. The less adaptors and special 'bit's the better. One less thing to lose before a gig. Ill probably sell my Stomp at some point if i get one of these...probably.
Fair play - I think it may be just me but on a powered mixer I had I had a faulty XLR port, but the Jack was ok - so I bought 1 of each types of cables so I never have that problem, and some small mixers there are not always jack and XLR ports, sometimes they only have 2 or 3 - just made it flexible, and meant in a situation like this it’s cool
Actually i do have those adaptors, but they are kept with the PA as i don’t have a need for them. I have always got a jack to jack or two with me.
