Does anyone know of a setting that will dial in something similar to Joe Principe's grindy tone on "Audience of One"?
ive been told that either a BDDI or VT bass will get me close though with the right bass and technique
A small sample I recorded this morning: http://www.spleenarcana.com/audio/anaon_vt_bass.mp3
Sorry I forgot to mention how it's recorded: It's my Fame Baphomet in the VT Bass direct into my soundcard (ESI1010). And as you guess it's played with a pick for the first part and with fingers for the second partno studio processing at all, no effects.
This is a killer pedal and to think that I thought I'd never get one after hearing the BassPlayer.tv samples.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was totally unimpressed by those sound samples! That is why I really want to wait to try one out in person before I get it. Only problem is no one in town has them yet!
Does anyone run one a Tech 21 VT with an SVT?!?!
Would that be redundant, or extra-ballzy.

I must say, after being unconvinced of its awesomeness with my Schecter, I have a newfound love for it with my BONGO.
Here's a clip I did running alongside the Muse song Sunburn, with some bonus content following.

The Bongo certainly does speak with authority.![]()
