Tech Metal Bassists?

I believe that would be Alex Webster. I didnt check the link, but I think hes involved.

No, but Alex does play with Ron Jarzombek from Watchtower and Charlie from Behold... in Blotted Science.

The Warr guitarist in Behold... is one Colin Marston, a prolific and awesome musician and producer. Among other projects, he plays in Dysrhythmia, who aren't necessarily metal but are an incredible tech trio. He runs Paincave Studios and remastered all the Atheist albums for the Relapse reissues a few years ago.

Which brings me to my next point. LISTEN TO SOME ATHIEST. Unquestionable Presence is an album so tastefully and brilliantly arranged that its badass factor is...uh...UNQUESTIONABLE! Tony Choy and Roger Patterson are/were great (RIP Rog).

+10000 on Rainer from Pavor. Most technical band I've ever heard. SDG is also a given, top-notch player and top-notch guy.

And also...Ron Royce from Coroner. He's like the Geddy of tech-thrash.

That's all I'm gonna add for now, I type the same list every time on of these threads pop up.

My favorite players are:
Tony Choy - Atheist + patterson
steve digiorgio – Sadus, Death
Alex Webster - Blotted Science (Machinations of Dementia).
Pete perez – spastic ink
Daniel Mongrain - Martyr
Sean Malone - Cynic
Lars K. Norberg - Spiral Architect
Ron Royce – Coroner
The guy in the album spheres of pestilence
Just to mention a few
