tech project- ibanez SR500 bass

Hi all!
I am planing on making a SR500 or similar ibanez bass for a school project, however i have only been able to find a CAD file for a 6 string 506 bass without a neck. i was wondering if anyone knew of a cad file which includes a neck of one of the SR 4 string basses that i could use for my senior project.
Any help would appreciated.

I haven’t seen a CAD drawing available of any of the SR bass series necks or bodies, but if you can get me a good reasonably parallax-free, high-res dead on photo of an SR500, I could draw it in Autocad for you pretty quick. Check Chicago Music Exchange, for some reason they tend to have really good quality photos. I’d need to know the correct nut and heel widths to scale the photo. PM me if you can’t find it otherwise.

As far as I know, all the Ibanez SR are standard 34" scale, so in the full length photo showing the whole bass, we know that nut to 12th fret is 17" , and nut to the G string saddle is going to be exactly 34" , plus or minus about 1/16". Between those two known dimensions and nut width (1.5" ?) we have enough to scale The photo. There's always some paralax and distortion, so it won't be perfect, but very close. I use a fret calculator to determine 34" scale for 24 frets rather than relying on the photo. I import a photo into Autocad, scale it using known dimensions, then "trace" the photo using the Spline and Arc commands. It's a bit of an art, because when you zoom in on the image, the edges dissolve into saw-tooth pixels, like Minecraft, so sometimes it's better to zoom out a little and eyeball it. Necks are easier to draw than bodies, since it's mostly straight lines, but you still have to trace the headstock.
