Nope, not referencing the song...just tell me something good in your life. It can be big or small, momentary or lasting. Okay, I'll start:

Today it will get to be about 90 degrees. This morning started out in the 50s with a nice Delta breeze and not a cloud in the sky. I've got the windows and back door open, and the house is almost chilly enough for a sweater. I love Sacramento summer mornings!

Yesterday, I went Kayaking and only got dumped once.

Tomorrow I'm heading out to my beach house for 10 days of vacation! Looking forward to playing my acoustic bass on the beach.

I played at church today and it was awesome! Really good service and the band was great. It's a beautiful day here in Michigan and I'm soon to go outside to do some yard work and take in some of that sun.

I love Sacramento weather. Lived here for many years.
Today... after mowning the lawn, I am going to kick back in our 12' X 36" Intex soft side pool. Just enouth depth to drown yourself or float in a 2 man raft. Got the pump kicking in the chlorine (sp?)
No water metering yet so when the water gets warm, It waters the lawn at night and then an ice cold refill.
$80.00 relief. Pools last for two or three years if taken down in the fall properly.

I just found out the city is going to resurface the street I live on and build new sidewalks! It really needs it, the road is terrible and the sidewalks are worse.

I've had the last four days off of work and haven't performed any kind of labor...

spent time with my daughter and new grandson

Took my 13 yo son to ser lynyrd skynyrd last Thursday night.

Ate some terrific food .

Had some good hanky panky with the GF

Drank some beer and floated around in the pool.

Much more....

Been an awesome four days

I've got my good health back after a long haul- I have the best wife in the world, great kids, and I'm hanging out all day long with my musical instruments. Going to the baseball game with a buddy on Thursday.
Life is good!

I have a labrador/border collie mix that has quite a thick coat, not so nice during these Texas summers and it leads to some amazing shedding so I went to work with the electric trimmer and a #2 guard to clean her up a bit.
