Tell me something good!

On Feb 1st, I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that had spread to my liver. A week later, the biopsy revealed that I have the same cancer as Steve Jobs. I had 100% of the tumor removed and we now focus on the liver. What's good in my life?

I have been married for 26 years to the same great loving woman.
I have two beautiful, intelligent, well traveled adult daughters.
Last month I bought myself a 2001 Mazda Miata to make doctors visits a bit more pleasant.
I have such wonderful caring friends around me.
Ziltoid has sent me caring pm's that I profoundly appreciate.
My sister spent three weeks with me.
My dog, Ben, has been by my side through all of this.
I bought a hot tub last week and soak in it every morning and every night.
I am alive.
I can drink wine again
I had my first beer of the year last week.
I love life and living.
I will survive the cancer and put it behind me.
I have met some great guys on TB.
I have learned that every dark grey threatening could does, in fact, have a silver lining.
I am alive.
I own a Sadowsky.

Lots of good in my life that is so worth living for.

The Miata is a friggin gas.

Have a great day and look for that silver lining. It's right in front of you.

I can't even come close to bmc - tip of the cap to you sir and all the good vibes your way as you continue to defeat cancer.

But I do have lots to be thankful for.

I've got 3 healthy kids and a loving wife.
I am continuing to get in the best shape I can
