Double Bass "Temporary" - new CD

I am delighted to announce in the first half of september a new CD will be released by indie label SILTA RECORDS (www.siltarecords.it):

This is a CD with creative improvisations with 2 double bassists: William Parker & Giorgio Dini.
Recorded in Italy on July 3rd 2009 (studio recording, hi-quality sound).

Great. However, in these times it is better to delay the physical CD, those who want it digitally are going to get it digitally as soon as they can, whether for pay or free.
Having the cd out there means it goes on file sharing networks before the pay sites, in otherwords, bad plan!
For my releases, I hold back the CD until it is online.
Still, I can't wait to hear it. It sounds great.

Thanks for this advise. It is a wise comment, even if I always considered illegal download is not harming me.

In this case, the reason behind, why the phisycal CD is released sooner than the iTunes download availability, is that the label needs to release it immediately to avoid overlap with the next releases of the label, already planned.
In other words they cannot wait for the cd to be available on iTunes before releasing the CD.
The iTunes intermediary takes his time before you can find the cd on iTunes.

PS - the CD is now available from the label and from the italian distributor (IRD). Please order directly to Silta records (Paypal, www.siltarecords.it ) or ask Jazzloft to get it.
Otherwise, will be on iTunes in hopefully 2-3 weeks.
