I prefer to move one 4x10 cab on wheels than manage two 2x10s. Many of us also use trailers with ramps.

All 4x10 aren't 80+ pounds.

I would have no use whatsoever for a single 2x10 anywhere.

And although you didn't mention it, I wouldn't vertically stack the typically-narrow 2x10 cabs.

Also, pairs of 210s are much heavier and also much larger than their single 410 cab counter parts. They also usually have to to be carried. Where as most 410s have wheels.


But, you haven't tried an abm210 then. They're pretty awesome as a single 210 option. Unbelievably full sounding.

It worked great with a Rumble 40. I think sensitivity isn't an issue for anyone who has a head that can power a 4x10. IMO, of course.

Sensitivity can always be an issue. I mentioned it because it’s a real issue.

A 9dB sensitivity difference between this driver and a typical high sensitivity bass driver is the difference between a 100 watt amp and an ~800 watt amp. Yes, it’s significant.

The Delta is very power limited in mechanical power handling, it's more of a mid bass speaker without a significant HPF in the amp.

Guess you need the right build for them? I have 12s, maybe they're a different animal in a fEarful enclosure? Or maybe the Delta is the wrong model? In any case, thanks for the correction.

Totally agree - the most important part is highlighted.

Many amp/cab designers/manufacturers will use custom drivers that are not quite the same as the off-the-shelf models, so trying to find a driver that is an exact match for the cab 'as is' might prove tricky. Be prepared to do some fine-tuning of the port(s) to get the best performance from (and protection/survival of) whatever drivers you opt for.

Yes, it’s about 90-91dB/1W/1M average from 50Hz-5kHz minus the high mid peak.
