Do you have more specs on the cab and photos? Thank you
Here's an early prototype next to an F212
We've since changed the dimensions and made it a tad shorter and deeper
It now looks like this...
Here's a couple stacked next to an F212 to give a perspective of scale
And my favorite electric bass rig for live AND recording...
We're putting this cab at 500 watts @8ohms, though I run my Crest ProLite at about 1,000 with no issues. Common sense still works! They weigh about 50lbs. There was a fair amount of prototyping involved to get to where we are now, but I'm pretty happy with what we've come up with. Goes low enough to handle a B string well and the mid drivers will smoothly go up as high as 10-12k which I like for upright. I'm not personally interested in going much higher than 7-8k and that's just for slap upright. On electric I want a bit of snap up top, but nothing I'd consider 'bright.' I have a GK MB800 and if you want that zingy GK thing, the cab will certainly accommodate that tone. Some of the amps/pres I've tested with this cab include
Mesa M9-
Mesa Titan-
Grace Felix with a poweramp
Aguilar Tone Hammer Pre/DI with a poweramp
Ampeg SVT4 Pro
Carvin BX1600
Michael Pope MPP2 into a poweramp
And @Zoomie often uses a Genz Streamliner 900
My favorite for electric is still my Reiner 6SL7 pre into the Crest. Runner up is the Mesa M9
For upright, the Grace FELIX is my very favorite with the Pope coming in second.
For basses we've used;
Fender P w/ flats
Fender P w/rounds
Dingwall Super J/P4
Dingwall Super J5
Drake custom 35" scale 4 string w/ TV Jones blade pickups
First Act Custom shop hollowbody with Dark Star pickups
1948 Epiphone B4 upright with steel strings and an Underwood pickup
Blast Cult upright with gut strings and a Blast Cult pickup
Hope that helps!
