Back in late July/early August, I ordered a new US Lakland from Bass Central. Not having shopped with them much before, I found it to be a great experience. Communication was all via email, and I received prompt responses to my inquiries. My experience with that order went so well that I decided my next bass order would be through them. The thing was that I was unsure of the exact specs I wanted, but when Beaver had the idea of what I was going for he talked with the fellows at Lakland and we had it all spec'ed out. It was the perfect bass.
Well, at this point, I knew any future purchase would be through Beaver and the fellows at Bass Central. So here it is, my new US Glaub:

Beaver and Co. always treated me with respect and exercised unreal patience. Since my initial experience, I've been recommending BC to anyone looking for a new bass. Thank you for all you do! Best music shop, hands down!

Beautiful bass. I ordered a trans white BG Jan/Feb, still waiting. Ordering a painted headstock that created delays obviously. Lakland sendt me an e mail and confirmed that the bass will be shipped from Chicago comming Fiday. We'll se.

Having visited Beaver and the gang this summer while I was at PSOM, I can say they are top notch people! They let a group of us play any bass we wanted (some of which cost as much as a used car!) and even gave us some free swag. If I ever have the pleasure of buying a new bass in the future, it'll definitely be through BC!
