No idea, they give no info about the bass besides the wiring and set up need work. Nothing about what pickups are in it. I can see a Ibanez humbucker and what looks like maybe a cabronita style humbucker. But no info on the rest. Some humbucker in the neck , Im guessing the stock Squier P pickup and some single coil pickup.
Not positive what's going on for sure. Looks like a 2 or 3 way toggle switch and a 5 way strat style switch. Like I said they gave no info at all other then the wiring and set up needs work.
Big surprise - a wiring problem. Never saw a snapped off pickguard before.

Funny you mention the broken pickguard. My bass has one. Its was in the case for 10 years and then started going out as a backline bass. Its down by the jack, so I can see how it might of happened. Must of been someone that rented it. It wasn't like that when I put it away for the 10 years sitting in the case.
I'd give it a shot, but only if the pickups were all wired separately.
Would be interested in hearing each. Last one closest to bridge is too much for me. Lol. That's where I draw the line.

If you guys want to check out how it sounds he gives this link. Of course he doesn't mention which actual tracks it was used on only saying it was used on "various" tracks.
I mean I don't hate the tone, super bright and clear but I'm also only listening on tiny speakers so I'm not sure how it translates and works in the mix on a full range system.

I'd definitely give it a try, but it's hard on the eyes. Too many different looks of pickups all colliding together... and hacked, from the looks of it. For punk, maybe?

I wouldn’t buy this but it’s something I’d totally do. I mean, why shouldn’t a bass have a rocket launcher or a bottle opener?

Years ago, a friend of mine bought an MIJ Fender P Bass from a semi-famous Hardcore/Metal bassist. It had a G&L pickup installed in the sweet spot. It sounded good by itself, but seriously overpowered the stock P Bass pickup. The two pickups together sounded like crap.
He replaced the stock P Bass pickup with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder, so the two pickups were at least in the same ballpark, output wise. The two pickups together sounded pretty good, particularly if you like a massive sound.

Replace
1) the neck humbucker with a Tele bass WRHB,
2) the big-poler with this
and 3) the bridge one with a G&L MFD, and I'm in.
Basically, I want a Leo pickup anthology!
