By the way he didn't tell when i talked to the luthier about having him build me a bass he mentioned an extended he was building and i guess it was him. Can't tell though promised Jean. Its gonna be cool though.

I forgot all about this thread. More pics as soon as possible! That neck is killer, and 5 rods man thats intense. Once you get the action right you wouldn't wanna touch nothin! Can't wait for more.

the hideous claw is getting it's pickup holes routed this week and then hopefully a few new shiny coats of finish after that. There's still quite a bit left to do.
here's a piece of the fretboard inlay - to get a sense of size, that "W" is about the width of a 5-string neck.
