This is the club for me. I actually struggle with 4-strings these days.

I currently own three basses, covering three distinctly different requirements, all fivers.

My all-round rock bass, and main bass for my band: Lakland Skyline 55-02:

My fretless: Sire P5

My "other", covering old-school tones: Ibanez SRMD205. 32" scale, converted to passive and equipped with LaBella flatwounds:

Yeah, out of the 15 basses I own, 2 are 4 strings and the rest are 5 strings. I may "un-convert" my Precision from a 5 to a 4 in order to trade it in - I previously converted to from a 4 to a 5, but the string spacing is pretty narrow and I rarely play it. And I rarely play 4 string basses these days.

I've been a 5-string fanatic ever since I saw Clay Tyson playing one with The Look People in a club c 1990.
I've tried - and sold - a whole bunch since then.
It just so happens I have 5 5-strings at this moment. They are very different from each other - and I love them all!

Love that 5 string upright!

Thanks!
5-string uprights are totally a thing. Most DB string makers offer low Bs (some of which are breathtakingly expensive).
I’m using it with the symphony this week. That low B range is absolutely relevant for classical pieces dating way, way back. (Not just a contemporary BG thing by a long shot!)

Only the body shape and the fact their neck thru is similar.

The Peavey is passive whereas the th Harley is active. They use different woods in their construction. The Peavey has smaller string spacing.

Of the two the Peavey is my go to. Their both really nice but the Peavey just seems to fit me better - like a nicely worn in pair of trainers.

Is the scale the same?
