I like that better than the Rics. Did you have a build thread for it as I have some questions? Strat body? Where'd you get the neck? String spacing? E-C tuning? And most of all, how do you like the Alumitone?
I want a pink bass, but magenta is more my flavour of pink.

Here is the build thread. It is a neck-thru that I built from lumber. String spacing is pretty tight at 2.25" It's tuned B to G. And the Alumitone is my favorite pickup. Very clean, accurate, and hot. I used one on a 5 string precision build I did a few years back as well.

Yep all I play is 5 strings. The picture from Sweetwater is my newest. It arrives Thursday. Yeah I kinda like Fenders too.

The Dark night is a 2021
The burst P-bass is a 2021
The burst Jazz from Sweetwater is a 2021
The 2 pictured together... the natural is a 2017 and the burst is a 2019. Those are the Pros. All the 2021s are Pro IIs.

I don’t really get the concern about 5s. They can do anything a 4 can do plus the high C. Or even low B in some rare cases. Who hates 5 string?
