The Acoustic Club

Updating my membership picture with my latest purchase; a 370 head. I could not bond with the 220 head and sold it. Between the 150 (normal channel) and 370 head, these should take care of my Acoustic toanz.

Nice!! I've had a couple 150's, and while I liked the 370 a lot while I had it, I had a 270 I pushed through Warwick 6x10 that was just awesome.

I would be most honored if You would kindly include me in the glorious ranks of the Acoustic Club.
Here are some pictures of my bass rig, with my near mint 220 head sitting atop my Eden cabs. The Squire Vintage Vibe Jazz Bass is strung up with LaBella flat wounds. I'm in tonal heaven channeling my heroes like Chuck Rainy and Jerry Jemmott.
This is actually the second 220 I've owned, the first being one I had in the early '80s. Left it with some one while I was traveling and never got it back. I found this one on Reverb and am so happy to be re-united!

Id like to join the club.

Just reeled in a 370 (still cleaning it up before posting NAD) and recent new owner of a 301. Now after 30 some odd years, I finally have have my dream rig. I have light weight Hi-Fi cabs and other stuff but I love this gear.

Full disclosure I modified my 301 with some oak skid rails so I can lug it around quite easily (not so bad), plus this fall I added an Eminence ALPHA-6CBMRA (6" mid driver/800hz HPF) in the upper horn (forgive me if I have sinned) to retrieve some of the highs that get lost in the horn. I have been gigging the 301 with an SM400 on top with lots of compliments on my tone lately.

These are the pictures that I have but I can do better soon!
The 301 as purchased:
NCD (New old Cab Day)

Posts of the 301 skid rails
Fridge-sized cabs, basement stairs, and middle aged me.

I know how you feel friend. When that box arrived and I plugged her in and everything worked perfectly, and I was enveloped in that warm, rich bass tone, you would have had to surgically remove the smile from my face! It must have given you chills when you read the date in that serial # plate. So much great music came from that era. Can't wait to see the pictures when you've finished cleaning her up.
Until then lets enjoy this great pice of Acoustic driven music, and check out the backline!

Can I join.

Right now all I have to play my Acoustic 150b is 2 DIY 10's which sound great. I have found a Acoustic USA 2x10 and it will be delivered Friday to go with the 150b.

Here are a pic of the 150b with the 10's and a pic of the 2x10 coming. It also sounds really nice with my 55 EB-1 - believe it or not.

The pic of the Gibson, is the family (daughter in law) that sold it to me of the deceased original first owner

Thanks for the club.

Great looking set up! Looks to be in great shape too. I'm loving my 220 head. I started playing in a soul / R'n'B band and the tone with my jazz bass strung with Labella flat wounds is spot on.
I'm not sure who started the club, but let me welcome you.
