Stingray, Which do you play through the most? Pros and cons of each? Do you mix heads with cabs and are there differences between the combinations? I am shopping, but not sure what for. I like the two channel 320, but maybe it isn't all that and another is better. I'm mostly playing a Warwick thumb6 and a Rickenbacker 4001. Thanks for any insight you can send my way.

I would use a 320 with my Ric and ROS! Tone/volume control with both pu's.

After re-reading my post it sounds as though I have a 320 amp. I do not have an Acoustic amp. In my shopping and looking, I think I would like a 320 but am uncertain.

Yeah, the 2 channel functionality sounds like a great feature to have and play through. My Rick is like a case queen. I play it, but only at home. The Warwick is the workhorse of my small stable of six.

To be honest I didnt play for months. I hooked up the 320 to the 402 and 406. Just single channel having some fun

The 270 and 320 sound so much better with a 2 ohm load. Using the P, tone just slightly on. Both channels on the 320. Cutting the mids and boosting the treble and bass. Love those sounds

Been away a while, unfortunately I sold my older 220 head and was using a rumble 500v3 head for a while. But I sold it recently to get a smaller combo for home/jamming. I went with one of the new classic series Acoustic combos. Found a decent deal on a used 100w from GC. So far I'm super pleased with it, but haven't had much play time as I'm still working (thankfully) during these crazy times.

I just wanted to share some specs I got from an Acoustic representative that I couldn't find on their site.

Frequency notch is 60Hz to 5kHz and it's 100w class A/B amp

@StingRay85 I'm going to eventually build a cabinet for my 220. I was intending making it a 4 ohm load. Will that be OK, or would you recommend lower?

4 would be perfect for a 220. Doesnt make much sense to go for a 2 ohm cab

Thanks! I will be posting the build on here. It will essentially be like a ported Eden 2x 10 cab with a tweeter and crossover, only I'm going to make it a bit bigger and style it to look like an ACC cab.
Does anyone know which of the currently available tolex patterns is closest to the vintage Acoustic one?

Make sure you get very efficient 10" speakers then. Like 98 dB/W or preferentially even higher

I emailed Eminence and asked their recommendation. They said the Legend CA 1059 was the one to use. It's got the cast aluminum basket and beefed up magnet.
For years I've been using two very early Eden 2x10 cabs. I use them in combination for bigger gigs, but sometimes one by itself for practice or smaller gigs. Two tens doesn't sound like allot, but in my experience they more than get the job done. I figure if the impedance is right and wattage handling is sufficient, it will be a nice compact, relatively light system.
The bigger cab should also give it a little more ooomph than the Eden cabs.

I used the knobs of my salvaged 150. I love this amp so much. The 320 can still do things this amp can't, but I need to recap it I think
