I know that the speaker cabinets got wider as the company grew, didn't the heads also get wider? I know my 361 and 371 quite well but not the newer gear.

1st & 2nd generation heads (150,360,370,470,etc) are 24-1/2" wide. 3rd generation heads (220,230,320,330, etc.) are 26-1/2" wide.

After owning this cab since 1973…I should know this. What is the impedance of the 301 cab? 4 Ohms…I think….
I "thought" I read that somewhere. So…if I used my gk mb-200, rated for 4 Ohms minimum…
Is that a problem?
Not ideal, I suppose, but I'll defer to others. I know a lot of people have powered a 301 with a Acoustic 150 head rated 4-ohm minimum load without a problem.

I just received my order from Flip tops, well they do have the right corners for the early acoustic 371's they are perfect for restoring your rusted out corners but the spiral nails are smaller in diameter than the originals. I am going to drill and fill the holes with a hardwood dowel and just use these nails! So, I found excellent replacem

I ran my 370 into 2-301 bottoms for over seven years, at volume, and absolutely no problems!
Can I join? I found a 118 combo for only 50 euros in a thrift store near my house. It sounds absolutely killer! It's insanely heavy though.
Time to give the 360 a long due maintenance. Its serial number 89 (1089). Still has the death caps and only a 2 prong power cable for 110/120, while in EU I obviously need 230/240V. I removed the PT from a EU donor 150 donor chassis. Way too beefy but I guess it'll do it's job.
This isnt going to work. Looks like winding ratio for the power amp vs preamp is not the same. I had mistakenly found 80V for the 360 and 150, but the 360 is in fact the 361 power amp. With my variac I measure on the 120V winding of the 360 10V to 2.3V. For the 150 240V winding I also measure 10V to 2.2V. So twice too much voltage for this to work.

That's an early one.
I ordered a 120/240 primary to 25V secondary transformer 50VA power rating. If it ever moves back to the US, it can be easily adjusted.

L1089 is again alive and kicking. Installed a Triad 553-F341X. It has two primary windings that can be split or combined to either use 220 or 110V, and a center tapped secondary of 25V (not needed here). Power rating is 50W, probably a bit overkill.
Installed an IEC socket and removed the death cap and the power out + cap. The GRD switch is only used to wire the pilot lamp (this is how it was done originally).
Works a treat and would recommend to all EU folks with a 360. No more messing around with a 220/110 transformer, finally its grounded and got rid of the power cable.
