This is not correct.
The F-2B’s 2nd tube is for the 2nd channel, which is identical to the 1st channel.
Perhaps you meant to say that the F-2B’s 2nd tube stage (on each channel) drives that channel’s output signal?

This thread has been a big help and enjoyment for me and I've noticed folks have asked / wondered about an operating guide so I thought I'd upload a copy as I was able to get one to go with mine.

I have an F-1X on the way - it’s making the big trip over from the US down to me in Australia. I’d like to change the voltage jumpers to allow for 240V power when it gets here, and have found this guide: Alembic - F-1X Voltage Jumper Settings
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m finding it really tough to properly see the jumper positions. Could anyone help me decipher this? A hand drawn or MS Paint or similar diagram would be amazing.

It looks quite straightforward to me. Just count the number of pins between the three jumpers on the terminal strip.
The two outer ones are at the ends of the strip with the middle one literally in the middle.
Doh, hahah. I misunderstood what I was supposed to be moving. Thankyou for making it more obvious.

Be very careful you get it right, if you don’t, you could quickly end up with a worthless smoldering mess.
It may be worth having a QUALIFIED service tech do this and test with a variac while powering up to verify before reaching an over-voltage condition.

Nice variety, but ... The tonestack is basically the same as on a Fender amp, so "neutral" is roughly 2-10-2 (BMT) and not 5-5-5 like you start out with.
