John Tune airport in Nashville last week. That wooden prop was a thing of beauty. Wish I had snapped a closeup. Is it strange that there were several modern, fancy private jets nearby but this was the coolest thing on the ramp?

That's my plain vanilla puddle jumper next to it. The Husky on the end was pretty neat as well.

I think you mean 2. Pics of this one on their website. Only half a mil. Add 50k for the advanced IFR package. If you're going to fly IFR in an open cockpit you definitely want all glass.

Have you seen the latest model of the U-2 being operated by a couple of US alphabet agencies?
Not to mention drones. When you can sit in a climate controlled box in Nevada and put a sparrow through simeone’s bedroom window in the other side of the planet, there’s not a lot of need for manned crews risking their lives.
