The "Late 60's" SVT on the first page is a late 70's Magnavox model, cabinet from same era. Late 60's have black grill cloth and black switches, and a metal toggle switch for power.

Speaking of which:

Late 70's Ampeg SVT and Ampeg Isovent cab (2x10's, 2x15's)

Here's one of my awsome rigs ... mid 1970's V4-B ( recently retubed & recapped ) on top of a ragged out,1990's 8x10 cabinet, I changed out the V1 tube to a 5751 and it seemed to give me a little more headroom ... the best setting is volume at 10:30-11:00 o'clock on the volume, tone to taste .... and you've got the classic Ampeg V4-B sound ..... anything above that setting ... the distortion comes into play ... however some folks seem to like that sound .....

as far as late 60's SVT's, they only made them one year in the '60's -1969. and none of them had black grill cloth. all of them had blue/silver grillcloth

It makes no sound, unless it gets too hot, then it sounds like "glorp-splotch" as it slides off its casters onto the floor, forming an oily puddle?
