heres our bar bands trailer! It’s a 4x8. If you had one recommendation to make or one tip that would help make loading and unloading and organization easier, what would it be?

Play with the jig saw until you get it right... repeat every time the band buys something new... truck pack is an art form of its own...

The one thing that won’t change. Map the weight so that you get the weight equally over that axel. Do not under or over load the trailer tongue!

Move that fixture and get some battery powered LED lights. That’s what I have in my trailer. The batteries last forever, especially rechargeables.

Be careful with the weight distribution.

Check with your insurance company. I suggest gear insurance because it'll all be in one place.

I would not put your band name or any other identifying info on it.

Also read up on your state's laws regarding pulling a trailer on the highway.

Practice backing up and turning around with the trailer loaded/unloaded.

Make sure you pickup some trailer mirrors and a hitch lock.

Balance the weight load over the axle. That is key. Also don't put markings on the outside of it to let anyone know whats in it. Install a few LED motion activated puck lights on the ceiling (dirt cheap on amazon and the batteries last forever). Hitch lock is a plus and look into a folding cart or big handtruck to make unloading/loading easier...sucks to unload subs/speakers/amps and then have to walk them hundreds of feet to where the setup is

Man I'd love to have one of these, but can only think of about 3 gigs a year where I'd be able.to park it.

Always park it with the door backed against a wall.

Ask every venue you're playing if they can make special parking accommodations. If they can't, plan on needing to to take an extra 30+ minutes finding parking after loadin.

Have someone sleep in the van because even with the door blocked there's nothing stopping someone with the right tools from opening it like a tin can.

There is ahtread at ProSoundweb ... thief’s using battery angle grinders. They skip the lock and go right to the hinge or the bar lock... jeeze...

Battery powered electric cattle fence charger connected to the outside body, and a short ground rod stuck in ground under the hitch. That seems to eliminate people’s curiosity as to what’s inside pretty quickly, and it has an entertaining side effect also.

Best thing I did on my trailer was wrap the inside with 3 rows of E-track. Keeps things in place very easily. Also a ramp rear door or a folding ramp is a back saver.
