Yeah I had the Supercollider V2 and compared the BEAST to it and it's the same sound so that's why I sold my SCv2. And the foot switches are not hard at all to hit.
It's pretty easy to mod a standard Supercollider to Beast specs. You only need a switch and 2 wires to add the Roar/Osc1 mod, which is the most useful out of the 2. If you have a v1 Supercollider that has the footswitch on the right hand side there's enough room for an extra footswitch on the left!
Just an FYI, Mark is currently taking orders for a new round of Beasts that are due to be finished in early July. I just ordered one in black with orange ink!
Thanks for the clips chronicle, definitely gonna have to save up for a bit to get one of these.
Been waiting for a "trainwreck of bass distortion in one box" pedal and this seems to be the jackpot. Sadly now I have to decide between getting one of these and a VT-deluxe, though I may just have to go with this one first since its harder to get than your everyday tech21 pedal!
here's a clip of me recording with the Beast....don't bother if you have crappy speakers cause the audio isn't the greatest....but you can at least get an idea of the nastiness haha
