The best way to prep for a freelance gig

Hi Justin,

What's the best way to learn all the songs for a 30 minute set with a minimum of effort? There will be no rehearsal.

I'm playing in the backing band for a guy who's doing a set right before my band's set. It's on the same stage, so I don't have to set up again.

I don't know...just learn them. Not sure what you're asking. Just sit down, put that shiz in iTunes and drill drill drill.

Good way to test yourself to see if you've really learned 'em is to play the songs with just a click. That way you won't count on cues from the band for transitions.
