Dude, just post what you play... even if it's a home made no-name someone gave you for free. We're just sharing here... no judgements.

Keep in mind that James Jamerson made magic with a stock Fender bass with dead rusty strings. It mostly ain't about the gear, man.

this thread is not about fancy basses, its about the basses that normal players like you and me play, so it doesnt mater if you just have one bass or a collection like jonh turner, the only mater is your gear and you showing it on this thread

Simple. Wealth. I figure he's showin' like 25K worth of basses alone (at LEAST), and we don't even know if that's all of'em, and no mention of his rig, either.

Bottom line, either he's unmarried, or I wanna' trade my wife in for her sister...

well, i got a good job when i got out of college. that's pretty much it. one of them - the white hollowbody fretless 7 - by wife bought me as a wedding present, that was my 10th conklin.
