Hahaha, yeah, it's got a deep woody tone with enough high-end that you are wise to wear ear protection.

We just bought our first house - still living out of moving boxes and such, and the rockstand is really the only place I've found so far to keep it. Someday I'm hoping to fill that space with a new bass, maybe a 5 this time around.

My P-Bass... and mm... well I just got the Jaco fretless last week.. so use your imagination, and I already self relic'd it against a marble table (just a slight ding.. but OUCH did it hurt.. who needs to pay a ton more for someone else to do the relicin for ya eh? :rolleyes: :p )

the p-bass (What I really use at home for practicing n stuff afraid to mess up the fretboard on the Jaco cause I slap n pop pretty hard at times) I use both pretty evenly.. Re-strung the p with d'addario chrome flats pretty sweet :)

2003 Carvin BB75P - koa sides, maple/koa neck, tung oil finish, ebony fretboard with no
inlays, HB5W humbucking bridge pickup (MM-style), H50N stacked humbucking p'up
at the neck (instead of the J99 single-coil), piezos in bridge, active/passive electronics,
graphite nut, black chrome hardware, Dunlop Straplocks. Ordered on December 31, 2002.
Delivered on January 31, 2003.

pearl red, ebony fretboard with no inlays, H13B stacked humbuckers, active electronics,
black chrome hardware, Schaller bridge, 1990 headstock design, graphite nut, Dunlop
Straplocks. Ordered and received in late 1989. This was my main bass for thirteen years,
but I think the new BB75P above has edged it out of that role. Badly needs a fretjob.

back, 1/8" maple center, and 1/2" figured walnut top, maple/walnut neck, figured walnut
headstock overlay, drop-shadow logos, clear gloss finish, ebony fretboard with no inlays,
dual HB4 (MM-style) humbuckers, two coil splitter switches, piezos in bridge, active/passive
electronics, graphite nut, black chrome hardware. This beauty is the only used bass I've ever
bought. It's still less than a year old. I bought it in February 2003.
