    Hey guys

I was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a transcription to Frank Zappa's The Black Page #1. I've been on both Barfko Swill and Barking Pumpkin but they don't stock it anymore and all the music stores i've been i contact with can't get it. Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks.

here's the best I can do for you

    go to my website: http://www.thescottthuneseffect.com

a news story near the top has a link to some guy's thesis on Zappa's melodies... it's a pdf which has the majority of Black Page #1... and it must be the official barfko swill version because the infamous bar 15 is wrong

if you need Black Page bass parts, there's a couple of the 80's versions of #2 (1984 and 1988) on my site in notation too:

if it's Patrick O'hearn's bass part for #1 you're looking for, I don't think it's out there in any form, but i'm sure we could figure it out between us.. it's only a few simple polyrhythms :)
